Mauna Lani Resort

Mauna Lani Resort wanted to pay tribute to the history of Kalaupapa; a small community on the Hawaiian island of Molokaʻi. This is where the resort calls home. We thought, what better way to do this, than to tap into the traditional Hawaiian illustration styles. This was a team project being handed off to multiple artists. My job was to tackle the frame by frame “ink” transitions bringing on various elements in each scene while also executing portions of the animation and revisions to any illustrations as well.
